Noose or Not: NASCAR Shows Solidarity

Sunday morning at Talladega Superspeedway, a crew member on the No. 43 team driven by African-American driver Darrell "Bubba" Wallace found what appeared to be a noose hanging in the garage of the Richard Petty Motorsports machine. After an FBI investigation, it was determined on Tuesday that the "noose" was actually a pull rope to the garage door in the shape of a noose that had been there since last year.

Newgarden Wins NTT IndyCar Season Opener

As the checkered flag was waved in the first race of the NTT IndyCar Series season, Josef Newgarden found himself in victory lane. Newgarden held a commanding lead for much of the race over defending series champion Scott Dixon, who finished second. Harvick, Logano Win Duels At Daytona

The Gander RV Duel’s at Daytona saw drivers race for their starting positions for the Daytona 500 on Sunday. Kevin Harvick and Joey Logano won their respective duel races and will start on the second row on Sunday.
