As the smoke settled and the national anthem concluded, the crowd on hand for this weeks Thursday Night Football game at AT&T Stadium in Dallas erupted as the Washington Redskins collided with the Dallas Cowboys. The Cowboys need to win every game for the rest of season to make the playoffs. However, the same can’t be said about the Redskins who are having a mediocre season.

The Redskins needed their quarterback Kirk Cousins to perform well and unfortunately that’s not what they got. Cousins, who has the second most passing yards in the season, threw for 251 yards, 2 touchdowns and 2 interceptions.

The Cowboys were looking for theirs high powered offense to deliver a great game and Dak Prescott and Dez Bryant did just that. Prescott threw for 102 yards, 2 touchdowns and no interceptions. Prescott, left the game early after get hit in the hand. Prescott eventually returned to the game but seemed to be in pain while warming up on the sidelines. After the game Prescott said his hand is “good”.

Dez Bryant made several big plays for the Cowboys offense. Bryant had 5 receptions for 61 yards and 1 touchdown.

The Cowboys move up to 6-6 on the season and go on to face the struggling Giants next. The Redskins fall to 5-7 and go on to face the Chargers.
