The Federal Hockey League has officially handed out of penalties from the Elmira Enforcers vs Carolina Thunderbirds game on Sunday afternoon. While the official result of the game hasn’t been decided yet, the league has handed heavy fines for the Enforcers.

Five players on the Enforcers have been suspended for three games. Nick Niedert, Sean Reynolds, Nathan Pelligra, Stepan Timofeyev and Gavin Yates have all been handed a three game suspension for the Enforcers following a massive brawl during Sunday’s game. Head Coach Brent Clarke has been indefinitely suspended by the league until further review.

Along with those penalties, Enforcers Owner Robbie Nichols has been slapped with a $25,000 fine for pushing an official during Sunday’s game.

While there is still no word on if the league will provide officials for this weekend’s games, every team is expected to play as usual.
