The league of second chances is back at it again. After picking up former Southern Professional Hockey League hotbed Columbus, GA over the summer, it seems the Federal Prospects Hockey League will likelybe picking up former SPHL market Bloomington, IL to have a team for the 2020-2021 season.

Sources did not have much to say other then the new team location, and that the franchise would be owned by Barry Soskin, Owner of the Carolina Thunderbirds, Port Huron Prowlers and Danville Dashers. Given the location, it seems the Dashers will be given a new travel partner, and what does this mean for future expansion in the FPHL? A new midwest approach maybe?

UPDATE:

There will be a press conference on Wednesday, November 20th announcing that there will be three neutral site games held in Bloomington during the current 2019-2020 season.
