NFL veteran quarterback Joe Flacco’s time in Baltimore has come to an end. After 11 seasons as the Ravens franchise quarterback, Flacco has been traded to the Denver Broncos. Per Adam Schefter, the Ravens have an agreement in principle to send former Super Bowl champion Joe Flacco to the Denver Broncos.

In his 11 seasons in Baltimore, Flacco threw for 212 touchdowns for 38245 yards and 136 interceptions. Flacco has had his ups and downs with the Ravens but Flacco was one of the only quarterbacks to consistently give Tom Brady competition alongside Ben Roethlisberger of the Steelers. After Lamar Jackson was drafted to the Ravens in the 2018 NFL draft, Flacco’s time in Baltimore started to tick down. After Jackson played in the playoffs instead of Flacco, it became apparent the torch was passed.

Denver is coming off a 9-7 season in 2018, they hope the addition of Flacco will help turn the team around.
