When coming to Superspeedways such as Daytona and Talladega, cars/trucks will be going about 200 mph every lap. Drivers control their cars at 200 mph, while being cramped all together in the pack. Driving super speedways certainly isn’t your daily drive to the mall.

Myatt Snider, a Gander Outdoors Truck Series driver for ThorSport Racing in 2019, touched on how it feels to drives at 200 mph at Daytona on his Twitch stream.

“As far as feel, it doesn’t feel as fast as some other tracks.” Snider said. “Probably Dover is the fastest track that you feel you go to. It’s so high-banked, you pull so many G’s (G Force) through the corner. It’s a feeling like no other, but Daytona is it’s own animal because you’re surrounded by twenty different trucks. It makes for a pretty hectic feel.”

Sniders description allows you to get an idea what it feels like in a stock car going 200 mph. You can catch Snider in the No. 27 truck at Daytona, Friday February 15, 2019 at 7:30pm for the Nextera Energy 250.
